No matter where you are in life - single or married, in the preschool, teen or empty-nester years, college age, in a career or retired - there is a place for you in Women's Ministries. We invite you to prayerfully consider the opportunities available at Lakeside as we grow together in the Lord.

Our goals are to encourage women in every season of life to develop and maintain a vital relationship with Jesus Christ. To provide opportunities to build friendships with other women who fellowship at Lakeside Bible chapel and to encourage every woman in the use of her spiritual gifts.

"To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:12-13

Our goal is to help women grow in their knowledge of God's living and active Word. But information alone is not enough--we seek transformation--and so our focus is also on practical application of God's Word to our lives. These Bible studies have a variety of formats that include personal study and group discussion/interaction.

A new believers study is meeting at the home of Barb Galster most Mondays from 7:00-8:30 pm. This is an excellent way to encourage new believers in their faith and explain the beliefs of the Christian faith. Please contact Barb Galster for more information on this study at: bgalster@hotmail.com or 586-530-2946.

Our Wednesday evening ladies Bible study, "The Armor of God" has concluded. A new study will begin this Fall. Please check back for more details.

We are encouraged and blessed as we uplift each other in prayer. Our small prayer groups meet on Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. during AWANA throughout the school year. We would love for you to join us.

Our ladies prayer time is currently on break until AWANA begins again in September. Consider joining us again in the fall and lifting up each other in prayer.

Build relationships with other women while working on a craft or project or just come and visit. Our next ladies craft night will be Thursday, November 16th at 7:00 pm. Bring a craft to work on and snack to share and enjoy an evening of fellowship!

Contact Geri Mielke at: cardmakergeri@gmail.com or 586-533-9354 for more information or any questions you may have.

Upcoming craft night dates are: December 7th and January 18th

Approximately every other month, ladies meet together to relax, get to know each other and simply have some fun. Whether we are going out to dinner, seeing a play, taking a garden tour, or having a game night, good times and fellowship are always enjoyed. Ladies of all ages are welcome!

Our previous ladies night out was a trip to the Baldwin Theater in Royal Oak to see "Sister Act" on Friday, September 8th. An evening full of laughter and fellowship was enjoyed by all the ladies who attended! More fun evenings are being planned!

Our 2017 ladies retreat was held Friday, October 20 - Sunday, October 22 at  Geneva Camp and Retreat center in Holland Michigan. The theme for this year's retreat was FEARLESS!  We spent time learning about the kinds of fear we experience, what God says about fear and how to conquer it. The women who attended were encouraged by God's word. New friends were made and connections strengthened by the end of the weekend.
