In light of the current spike in COVID infections in Michigan, as well as the higher infection rates within the church community, we will be changing the service structure for the remainder of the month of April.
The biggest changes are that all of our services are going to be masks-mandatory and registration required. We will be capping the number of attendees, so please register as soon as possible. The cap will be somewhat lower than we are currently experiencing at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday service, so if that is the service you wish to attend, please register early and try to remain flexible. We will continue to offer the livestream at 11:00 a.m., and we strongly encourage people to make use of it.
The Lord's Supper service will continue to meet at 8:30 a.m. on Sundays, and will continue to be fully masked. We also encourage those that share to keep their masks on while speaking, in light of the size of the room.
BLAST Kids' ministry will continue to meet, but it will be only in the large group format, with masks required for school-age kids. Masks will not be required for pre-schoolers, and as it is difficult to maintain social distancing with children that young, parents need to be aware of those challenges.
We are still in the process of figuring out the next steps for student ministries which will require a number of changes for them to continue to meet effectively.
